So, having spent a lot of the summer on my hands & knees locating & sewing down membrane edges, I finally had a trip-free school. As you will see from the above, the surface had degraded to the point that it was pretty rubbish. So I spent the whole of my Christmas bonus on 80 cu metres of fresh woodship (from a completely different company - remember that the original one conveniently closed down) and it took us about 6 weeks to spread using the little tractor & a wheel barrow. After all that backbreaking work, did I have a useable school...?? Yes, for a few weeks. But then the surface began to migrate towards C, it got soggy as the 'planning' layer doesn't drain & my old friends the membrane edges began to work their way loose again.
